That's how old Brayden is today! But today is not only a special day for Brayden it's also a special day for a little friend of Braydens! Ellie Blake is Brayden's little "girl-friend" who is celebrating her 1st Birthday today! Brayden and Ellie spent pretty much everyday of their first 9 months together (mostly because the mommies needed adult conversation). Unfortunately, being in the Air Force means friends will come and go. They moved away over the summer and have been terribly missed by all of us. Although, there is a chance both of us could meet up again at Lakenheath AFB in England! It is a base where both of our husbands jets are stationed, so needless to say Haley and I are hoping for England. I found a few cute pictures of Brayden and Ellie together so I thought we would share them and let the Milledge family know we are thinking about them today and wish little Ellie belly a Happy 1st Birthday! We miss you guys!
3 1/2 years later......Johnny is officially done with his T-38 Instructor tour! He had his Fini Flight (last flight) in the T-38 as an Instructor last week. The day of a pilots last flight with a squadron all the other pilots hose you down with a fire hose and champagne, so that's just what we did! We got some great pictures of him getting soaked. He just started the next phase of training earlier this week which is about a 2 month course here in Columbus. This training helps prepare him for the training he is about to go through in his next fighter jet. For those of you who don't know we have received our next assignment with the Air Force......Johnny is going to be flying the F-15C! The training for this jet is in Klamath Falls, Oregon. We are officially Oregon bound around the first of February hopefully. Here are some pictures of Johnny's fini flight (above), the F-15c and our new home (below)!
